Protective films can be applied to any glass surface of a building, preventing shattered glass from scattering and causing injury in case of impact. When glass breaks due to mechanical damage (such as weather conditions or accidental impact), the film holds the broken pieces together, keeping them from dispersing and reducing the risk of injury.
These specialized films also serve as excellent protection against burglary or accidental strikes. Under forceful impact, the glass may crack but remains held within the frame. The film binds the fragments, providing resistance and preventing intruders from breaking through or stray objects, like a ball from a nearby playground, from entering the premises.
