Facade flags are used to mark the exterior of an institution, company, or organization. Often, next to the flag of the institution or organization, there is also a national or municipal flag. Flags are placed on poles and then into suitable holders mounted on the wall or facade. There are holders intended for displaying one or more flags.
Facade flags are predominantly horizontally oriented. This type of flag is most often made from single-sided polyester material. In areas with stronger wind, it is recommended to use mesh polyester, a material with larger perforations. Luxury satin flags can also be placed on facade poles, but due to weather conditions, they have a shorter lifespan.
Flags are printed using sublimation printing on high-end machines with eco-friendly colors resistant to UV radiation. The size of the facade flag also determines the length of the flagpole used. The most common flag sizes used are 100 x 200 cm or 160 x 80 cm. Due to exposure to sun, dirt, and moisture, the flag fabric may become dirty or clogged. Therefore, flags intended for outdoor use must be washed once every 60 days. They are washed at 40°C and dried on the pole. Do not use chemicals or bleach. Flags must be folded during strong winds to prevent tearing.
